Women’s Fall Get Away

October 21-23, 2022

Get ready to disconnect amidst the stunning and tranquil North Woods of Wisconsin

Fall is our shortest season and one of the most beautiful times to spend in the north woods. It is also a time of year where we can look forward to slowing down from the constant activity of summer and discover time to fuel our creative fires and connect with others. This is how we feed our souls, fill our wells and replenish ourselves.

The Women’s Fall Retreat is all about you! There are countless events and activities that you can be part of--or not! The space is ideal for being active or low key.

You have choices and options to make this YOUR retreat. Bring a loved one along or wing it solo! Spend time relaxing, socializing (or not), hiking, biking, kayaking, arts, food, massage, yoga, meditation, campfires, organized events… choose what resonates with you. Please see (loose) schedule below

Vicky Mumford

Vicky Mumford

Vicky’s interest in yoga began several years ago, and her true journey started when she was pregnant with her second daughter. Yoga helped her learn how to connect to her breath, alleviate low back and hip pain and offered just the right amount of gentle movement her body was craving during pregnancy. She fell in love with the flow and from there was her daily yoga practice.  Vicky received her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification from Yama Yoga Studio in Milwaukee and has also acquired additional teacher certification in prenatal, postnatal, and kids yoga.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from UW Stevens Point with a double major in Biology and Clinical Laboratory Sciences and her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Capella University.  Vicky and her husband have a lake home in Winchester where they enjoy life with their two daughters, Josephine and Annabelle. By teaching yoga Vicky hopes to spread the knowledge she has gained and introduce others to this practice that has transformed her life physically and mentally.  She has recently completed her 500 hour YTT with Mark Stephens.
